Kids had fun exploring the performing arts at the Wortham Center’s first-ever Free Play Day on Saturday, March 11! With a series of hands-on workshops in theatre, movement, and improvisation led by Wortham Educators, young artists exercised their imaginations, learned about the theatre, and made new friends.
The activities at Free Play Day were a sneak peek into the programming to be featured during Creative Arts Summer Camps 2023 this July and August. High-energy, low-pressure, week-long camps for rising 1st-8th grades celebrate the creative spark in every child through performance and play.
