An exciting evening of dance performed by the Ballet Conservatory of Asheville’s celebrated Pre-professional dancers. Featuring new choreography by special guest, Fay Van Baar, from Nederlands Dans Theater. Plus, Neo Classical and Contemporary choreography by Nadia Iozzo, Gavin Larsen, Megan Jones Medford & Jake Lowenstein
Following Winter Works this year ‘A Mid Summer Night’s Dream’, May 27 & 28.
The Ballet Conservatory is proud to provide their students with the best daily training and guidance, and is committed to connect them with world-class professionals to help prepare them for the challenging demands of a dance career. Our Faculty include Nadia Iozzo (Alberta Ballet, Kansas City Ballet), Gavin Larsen (School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre), Angie Lynn (Vienna Festival Ballet, Phantom of the Opera, CATS).
Our Master Class series has included Daniel Ulbricht (NYC Ballet principal), Karen Averty (Paris Opera Ballet Principal/ San Francisco Ballet Principal), John Selya (ABT/Tony nominated, Twyla Tharp dancer), Michael Vernon (Royal Ballet School, Master Ballet teacher/ IU), Mathew Powell (PNB, KCB, Point Park, Ballet Nova), Fay Van Baar, (Nederlands Dans Theater) and many others.
