Wortham Center Presents
The Joshua Show: The Grown Up Special
March 4 & 5, 2022 at 8 p.m.
The feel-good event of the season! Everyone has a unique superpower, each of which can be wielded to spread joy to those around us. If we use our collective abilities, the world will change for the better. Described as a modern-day Mr. Rogers with hipster appeal, Joshua Holden hilariously adapts his family show for more mature audiences, delivering ear-to-ear smiles. Joshua creates heartwarming entertainment using live music, puppetry, physical comedy and tap-dancing to make the world a better, happier place. With a message of celebrating our differences, finding joy in everyday life and respecting the feelings of others, The Joshua Show aims to spread kindness, love and warmth.
Please note: While there are four matinee performances of The Joshua Show for children to enjoy, The Joshua Show’s two evening performances are of the Grown Up Special, which contains language not suitable for children. Parental discretion for these two evening shows is advised; child tickets are not available.
“Mr. Holden has dedicated his shows to lightening the mood of all in the theatre, puppets and humans alike.” – The New York Times
